John Green Can\u2019t Be Trusted!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-553 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/northidahopac.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/thumbnail_image001.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"99\" height=\"143\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In 2015, tax\u00a0auction off his log home in Athol.\u00a0 At one time, Hart owed nearly $600,000 in federal taxes and $50,000\u00a0in state taxes.\u00a0 Guess who was his attorney through much of this tax dispute?\u00a0 Legislative District 2 Candidate John Green.\u00a0 Perhaps Hart chose Green because birds of a feather flock together.\u00a0 Recently, the Coeur d\u2019Alene Press reported that John Green has a federal tax lien of his own, because he owes more than $134,000 in back taxes.\u00a0 Green calls the lien \u201ctotally bogus,\u201d but the Kootenai County clerk quickly undercut that claim: \u201cLiens either are or aren\u2019t satisfied \u2013 there\u2019s no middle ground.\u201d\u00a0 This isn\u2019t a rounding error; it takes a serious, deliberate effort to get that far behind on your taxes.\u00a0 Whatever happened to personal responsibility?
